Meet Tony Lis

If you’re reading this, you’re likely braver than most people – the healthiest of people are those seeking help.

Putting your needs first is a statement. You matter. You want to make your life what it should be — happy, free, fun, and successful. You and only you can decide when to start therapy. That moment might be now.

I base my appreciation and respect for people on these values.

Every person has a story, and it’s your story to tell.

It can be difficult to share certain life events or choices for fear of judgment. That won’t happen with me.

I will not debate whether it is reasonable to be affected by what you’re going through. Life is all relative. Even if you think someone has it worse than you, you have the right to your feelings.

Your concerns, whatever they are or how insignificant you think they may be, are your concerns.

You deserve to be heard and acknowledged.

I have a counseling degree from Northern Illinois University and have been practicing for 11 years. I look forward to helping you find better relationships, building more self-confidence, and developing a sense of inner peace.

In sessions, you’ll find me warm, inviting, calming, and (hopefully!) a little humorous.

Together, we’ll work at your pace and create goals that move you closer to the joy you deserve.

A few additional bits and pieces about me: I’m a theater lover, my favorite athlete is Roger Federer, and, I have to admit, I’m a proud, die-hard Iron Maiden fan.
